The heated lockers for ski equipment were a solid touch, keeping gear warm and ready for action. The in-house tea and coffee service offered a comforting pick-me-up after a long day on the slopes.
The breakfast situation was a drag, with inconsistent quality and the chaotic self egg boiler not helping matters. Access around the hotel was dicey, thanks to icy patches making walks perilous-some rubber matting could work wonders. The rooms felt cramped with ski gear strewn about, and while the overall décor was decent, some of the furnishings were starting to show their age. The parking situation could be a hassle, with free spots often filled up, pushing guests to seek paid alternatives. All in all, there's a good vibe, but certainly room for improvement here.

The staff were cute and eager to assist, making our stay feel special.
The reception area is quite small, which can be limiting for larger groups wanting to gather.

Great comfy beds, but the icy paths made getting around tricky.

the hotel has a friendly, family feel to it. I really felt at home as soon as I got there. The location is perfect for the ski lift and access to the best end of town. Will definitely go back again, a great find !
Having to wait for the chain across the car park to be unlocked, obviously only a pain if you're in and out with the car !

Staff were helpful, friendly and made you feel very welcome. The one evening meal we had was very good value at 15 Euros (for many courses and the food was very nice).
No first aid kit !

The Avalanche is excellently positioned near the slopes. I loved the clean, cozy, and well-decorated room with fine views of the mountains. The staff genuinely stood out, being helpful at every turn, even organizing our airport shuttle. Free tea and coffee were available in the reception. The absence of a dedicated bar area meant we had to walk to a nearby hotel for breakfast, and the path to that hotel was uneven and muddy at times. Noise from the hallways was noticeable at night, hard to sleep. A pleasant stay filled with warmth and comfort despite the ongoing work.

Location couldn't be beat, ski right up to the door. Friendly staff and good size room for a ski resort.
Beds were a little hard and the breakfast was typical resort fare(i.e. no full english)

Cozy stay with charming hospitality
The hotel offers a warm atmosphere with fine mountain views and very cozy rooms. The staff is attentive, always happy to help with any need.
The path to the breakfast location was steep and icy, made for a treacherous walk. There weren't enough amenities to fully support guests after hours.

The room had a clean and modern appearance, although it was quite small, especially with ski gear occupying space. The bar area was warm and cute, and the beds were often described as comfy.

The location is superb for accessing the ski lifts. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was definitely disappointing, no fresh juice, joghurt from cartons and coffee from a machine.

The location, it is literally next to the slopes (we even had the travellator outside of our window)
After a hard day snow boarding, a good hot sauna room would have been perfect!
